Kraków Convention Bureau Kraków Convention Bureau has been operating since 2004 — exactly 20 years. 📣 Double-Digit Growth in Italian Conference Tourism The latest Italian survey of #Conferences and #Events, conducted by Federcongressi&eventi and ASERI at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, reports a robust season for #Italy's #conference #tourism. In 2023, Italy hosted 340,057 events, a 12% increase from 2022. Delegate numbers rose by 28% to 27,152,890, with total attendance reaching 41,835,932—a 31.9% increase. ✒ Key Insights: - Event Locations: 59% in Northern Italy, 24.7% in Central Italy, 10.2% in the South, and 6.1% on the Islands. - Venue Preferences: 77.8% of events were held in conference #hotels, with significant growth seen in #conference #centres and #trade #fair #venues. - Organisers: Companies organised 66.3% of events, while #associations accounted for 22.3%.
