The best interviewing hack that I've discovered is simply to spend a long amount of time with the applicant during the interview day. Meet and ask questions, go grab lunch, go tour the facility, just spend time together. After a certain amount of time people begin to let their guard down and really be themselves, and this can help accurately assess win-win fit!

I don't like that this article only mentions these 3 psychometric tools because there are LOTS you could choose from (Insights Discovery, Big 5 personality traits, leadership circle, strengths finder, etc. etc. etc.). However, I really agree with the overall message: successful interviews are not about canned repsonses, but genuine self-awareness. And also, being able to show up as your genuine self!

The BEST way to showcase your examples in your interview is by using the IMSO framework: - Incident - Mission - Steps - Outcome Hook your panel in 30 seconds, keep it concise, and always circle back to your direct involvement and the lessons learned.
