Even though I don't believe it, I hope that Civ 7 will be more like Civ 5. I have Civ 6 on PC and Switch, but the spark just doesn't seem to be there.

2025! 😭. Can I add something to the wish list? I think that the difficulty should be managed differently. Instead of giving bonuses to the computer leaders, I think they should study how I play and counter me. Using machine learning the game has tons of data to define the way I play. It will make it so much fun and challenging! Looking forward!!

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT This is my most played series by hour count, even over MMOs. I have Civ 6 on PC, PS5, and Switch so I can always play. I played Civ 5 on every break when I worked at the theme parks. All hail. This game taught me more about history than history class.

The very first Civ was transformative for me as a young man. Not only did it cement my love of history and gaming, But now, as an adult, when I design serious games for the classroom Civ always has a spot in the lit review.

I was not expecting that to be announced or revealed this year. What a pleasant surprise.

Although I almost exclusively play Germany (and Norway in Civ 6), I'm excited for new nations and city-states. Taiwan, Serbia or Yugoslavia, Chile or Argentina, Cuba, Mexico maybe?

I can’t wait! Civilization is one of my favorite franchises, I anticipate many instances of “oh, just one more turn…”
