7 random things I've been thinking about this week, if you're into that sorta thing (252 words): 1.) I almost feel bad about how outta the loop I am on this Kate Middleton stuff. 2.) Me, to myself, every year in late January: “It’s gonna feel so good to get taxes done early this year.” Me, to myself, every year in late March: “Looks like the taxes ain’t getting done this year.” 3.) Working theory: you either grew up on Bill Murray OR Chevy Chase, but we all grew up on Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy. 4.) Some days I really wish Burt’s Bees was my biz. 5.) So much to learn from listening to Gong calls, but what people don’t talk about enough is how much you learn from the ‘small talk’ portion of them. The other day a couple of guys were talking about a turbulence forecast website before a call started, and my flying life is forever changed because of it. Turbli.com if you’re interested. 6.) I admire what the Liquid Death team is doing from a brand perspective, and I love their work, but you’re outta your mind if you think I’ll ever be caught dead walking around with a can like that. 7.) The last four minutes of ‘Ted Lasso’ are flawless and 90% of it is because of the song choice. That’s it for this week. Love it? Hate it? Thinking about sending me a Liquid Death 4-pack in the mail? Don’t. Unless you want George the mailman to have it. Pet a dog and bark at a cat this weekend, friends.

A Channeled Message for You - December 14 Flexible #19 (9+1=10) – The number ten is a sign that you are at the end of a cycle and ready to embark on a new one towards greener pastures. Follow the path of your knowing to wind your way through the maze of confusion. The appearance of this card is a reminder that you must stay flexible while navigating your way. Things may occur (hello, Mercury in Retrograde!) that may try to throw you off your path, just allow, stay grounded, and go with the flow of life. Things will right themselves if you just give it a moment. The egg represents creativity, new ideas, and the incubation of concepts. Remain flexible and ask your higher self for guidance. Instead of considering the “how,” allow the feeling of your results to steer your direction. A great analogy is when you’re dining at a restaurant. Let’s say you order a steak. You don’t go into the kitchen and tell them how to cook it. You TRUST that they will deliver your meal, precisely to your liking. Stay out of the kitchen and let the Universe work it’s magic! Don’t Dim to Fit In: How are you dimming your light to fit in? Lack of self-confidence can cause us to shrink back into the crowd. This is not the time for being part of the herd. Stand tall, shine your light, and be proud of your accomplishments. Your confidence will attract more of what you desire, whether that’s money, stability, love, or better relationships. “Susie’s energy is calm and inviting. I love her laugh and how excited she gets at diving deep and in completing each reading. Her insights have remarkable accuracy. Even naming the car that we currently drive. There are no accidents. The synchronicities experienced were truly a gift.” - Amanda and David Curry Want to give the gift of a reading? Click here for an easy-peasy gift that will last a lifetime! THE GIFT, THE ROOM and THE MAN That the gift of a man makes room for him doesn’t necessarily mean the man always makes it to the room. Follow me. Your ‘gift’ are: Your results. The value you bring. That thing that makes people want to associate with you. The ‘room’ are: The opportunities, The access, The leverage you get because of the gift. Your ‘gift’ are expressions; they’re external. They’re what you send out. The expression and delivery are fully your responsibility to convey in way it appeals to your audience. But the value of that expression depends on the interpretation of other people’s experience of you. If the interpretation is pleasant, it will likely lead to another experience of your expression. Which then creates a ‘room’ for you. A referral or recommendation; an opportunity for more people to experience your expression. That’s where having a target audience comes into place. Your value might be for everyone but not everyone will value your value. Make peace with that, build your tribe and continue to grow. Bid farewell to those who don’t value your gift but cherish those who do. But be careful to differentiate between feedback and crit.icis.m. That’s how rooms are created. The room is ALWAYS a consequence for the gift. That’s a principle. But that’s not all. After the room is created, which is given, what about the man? The gift and the room are nothing without the MAN! So where will the man be when the room is created? Though the gift of a man makes room for him the man still needs to pay the “transport fare” - right attitude, character and wisdom - to get to where the room is. And “gate fee” - diligence - to enter and stand before the Kings in the room. In summary, your gift can make room for you but I hope you have the “transport fare” to get there and “gate fee” to pay to enter the room. Think about it! - Seth Amazon #youtoocanexcel #toolatetobeafailure
