Happy Social Saturday except for managers who think multiple rounds of interviews are the key to finding the golden candidate. 😬 How many interviews does it take to change a light bulb? Maybe it's time to shed some light on efficient hiring practices! 💡 How many rounds for a management role is too many? 🧐

Above 4 rounds is many, 2-3 I'd just enough. Happy social Saturday Jessica (Fiesta) George 🎧 🎙 Let's connect

Used to be opposed to multiple rounds of interviews, until you start noticing good interviewees with embellished and exaggerated backgrounds were destined to be the "bad hire" companies were trying to avoid.

As for how many interviews is ideal in general… it depends on the job. More senior positions typically need more interviews, but that should mean two or three. The longer the interview process, the higher chance you might lose your top candidates. Drawn-out process, lack of feedback and threat of rejection can take a serious toll on applicants' self-esteem.

I think that if a company needs multiple managers to interview a candidate, then they should do a panel interview that way no questions are repeated and they all hear the same information!
