In our country, this is a huge number, and we want to thank each and everyone who have applied. At the same time, we recognize that such interest does also carry a great responsibility, for delivering what our current and future talent, as well as clients want from us. So why do people want to work for Deloitte? The data – based on questions we have asked for years from people who join us – shows that the possibilities to develop oneself and Deloitte's strong brand are the two main reasons. We take the responsibility for being a learning platform for huge amount of young talent, and of course also for experienced professionals, extremely seriously. We are increasingly investing in technical training as well as promoting good everyday leadership in our revised strategy. For six years in a row Deloitte has been the most valuable commercial services brand in the world. This is not self-evidence. It must be earned. Everyday. I’m pleased to share that I completed Accenture's Elevate to Innovate Externship! The agenda of this externship immersed attendees in the culture, client services, and opportunities at Accenture to learn how technology can solve today's business challenges. One of my favorite parts was learning about Disney's StudioLAB, Accenture’s seven-year partnership with Disney; it was an innovative method of storytelling I hadn’t considered before. After hearing about interactive movie posters and photogrammetry, I had the opportunity to map the applications of next-generation extended reality (XR) to the real estate industry, during a breakout case-study challenge led by Asher Naghi. A huge shoutout to Dustin Clinton and Taylor Spikes for coordinating such a comprehensive program! Your commitment to young talent, learning, and innovation is inspiring. I look forward to completing post-externship training in SAP Technology, Data Analytics, and GenAI in the coming weeks. I've worked at EY for 2 years! These are the pros and cons of working in a Big4 company from my perspective: Pros: - Growth environment: The learning curve is steep and pushes to grow professionally. - Training events: Milestone events for each career level (associate, senior etc) offer exceptional experiences. I've met colleagues around Europe during these events. - Extensive networking opportunities: Working in collaboration with different service lines in large engagement teams pushes you to grow your professional network. - Clients: Working with clients from SMEs to multinational corporations gives unique understanding how best businesses operate. - Career opportunities: The organisation is built in a way that high performers will be rewarded. I got my first promotion in less than two years. You can do it too. - Tools and technology: Implementation of new tools and technologies makes problem solving easy and learning new gadgets is always fun. Cons: - Work-life balance may suffer occasionally due to heavy workload. That's how it works in a project-based business. As expected, list for pros is longer than for cons. 15 days IBM NCEE today. I was told that the summer break in Europe was going to make my transition into the organisation super smooth and well paced. I have had an ‘intensive summer internship and fast paced induction to the max’. Pretty much from week one I got myself engaged across a couple NCEE bids and I am learning by doing and rolling up my sleeves. I think I met 3x the number of people I had on my ‘Month 1 list’. I had interactions with colleagues and friends from the past - as in from volume 2 and 3! My views about IBM: a massive enterprise with lot of potential and market differentiators: Data & Analytics, ERP Transformations powered by IBM Products, AI everywhere, Technical Consulting, Technology Integration, Custom Application Development, Strategic Alliances, Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Cyberspace. Above all are the newly acquired colleagues making my arrival feel good. My best friend knows what coffee I like at 9 am and she gives me the weather forecast as she makes my double espresso after lunch. It is energising to work while creating the future that we want to live in!! I will be doing everything I can to remain aligned with my purpose to build teams with individuals that bring very unique skills and experience. I will continue to strive for a SAP+ agenda because the power of the engine is exponentially increased when we think about platforms and we create new business models on them!
