Fernbank Museum of Natural History’s Post

Forest restoration is a forever commitment that involves staff and volunteer support on an on-going basis to remove nonnative, invasive species, like English ivy, liriope and more. Today we were fortunate to host a volunteer group from KPMG who worked hard to contribute to the healthy ecosystem in Fernbank Forest, the largest urban, old-growth, Piedmont Forest in the United States. Thank you KPMG US! #forestrestoration #oldgrowthforest #museumwork #protectinghabitats
