Making a lasting impact and empowering the lives of women, we strive to bring normalcy and confidence through what they wear, allowing them to go beyond norms and pursue their dreams - no matter the time of the month. Reflecting on our commitment to shed light on periods in sports, Women's Health Australia quoted messages from inspiring Olympians, as we joined them to talk about their personal stories, looking ahead to drive this taboo narrative more openly, and ‘change the game’. With MAS Holdings, we continue to manufacture and innovate revolutionary solutions, advancing the future of FemTech, one stride at a time. #periodsinsports #womenshealth #femography

"As we celebrate International Women's Day, it's crucial to acknowledge women’s unique challenges and strengths, especially regarding physical fitness and health. A topic that often surfaces in conversations among female athletes and fitness enthusiasts is the impact of the menstrual cycle on training performance. The complexity of hormonal fluctuations has historically led to a research bias towards male-centric results, leaving a gap in understanding the nuances of women's responses to strength training. Yet, as a strength and conditioning coach, I've delved into the latest research to provide guidance on how to adapt to these cyclical changes, enabling you to manage and optimize your training throughout the cycle effectively." https://lnkd.in/eeYAJZ8T The conversation around women’s health has been gaining momentum, and it's about time. Historically, women have been significantly underrepresented in medical research—a disparity that continues to impact our understanding of female health. This research gap translates into real-world consequences, such as lost productivity due to period symptoms and challenges faced during perimenopause. Women encounter enough obstacles; managing menstruation and menopause shouldn’t be another. This recent article sheds light on how elite female athletes are challenging the stigma around menstruation in sports. Athletes like Fu Yuanhui and Clarisse Agbegnenou are breaking the silence and pushing for greater awareness and support. Their stories reveal how menstrual symptoms impact performance and highlight the broader need for addressing these issues in all aspects of life. As Chief Medical Officer of Nexus, we’re developing an AI-enabled women's health app designed to support women comprehensively. From cycle tracking to personalised nutrition and mental well-being, our goal is to bridge these gaps and provide the support women need to thrive. Our women’s health coaching companion goes live soon. We are trying to help women think about their time and schedule differently. The Essence App has just been featured in Femtech World, raising a bold discussion question - whether it will really help change the way we live and work. We know from our user interviews that many women don’t know about the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle. We’re on a mission to help people with cycles start looking at their calendars through the lens of these 4 phases, because certain phases are better suited for certain tasks. For example, networking is usually way smoother during the follicular phase. The Essence App uses science-based recommendations to help us coordinate our schedules so we can feel and perform better at every phase of our cycle, unlocking the strength of each phase. Our goal is to work with our period, not against it. Are you intrigued? Do you want to learn more? Better yet, are you considering bringing menstrual well-being tools to your company? Send us a message here or at [email protected] and we would love to chat with you about how we’re changing the landscape of life and work for people with cycles. #theEssenceApp #MenstrualHealthMatters #CycleSyncing
