Out here celebrating a few more wins.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼... 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺! 🏆 Vegas Legends has won the 𝗦𝗕𝗖 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼! But let’s be clear – this award doesn’t belong to the company; it belongs to the incredible team behind it. 🎉 In business, nothing is more important than your team, and this win is a testament to that. So, what’s the secret to winning an award like this? It’s all about the people you work with. Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way: 🔑 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲. Size doesn’t always equal success. Efficiency does. 💡 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸. Give them the freedom to innovate, and they’ll surprise you every time. 💪 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. A motivated team is unstoppable. ❤️ 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀. Happy teams make happy customers. 🤝 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. I recently made a mistake when celebrating a great month in our company.  We blew away our goal and I wanted to recognize our team. Instead of just congratulating our team for their great accomplishment, I threw in the dreaded "but" at the end of it. "but, next month will most likely be much different." There was no need for me to do this.  I intended to shield them from a possible letdown the following month since we always have a strong January. The "but" was not necessary at that time (and probably not at all). Celebrate your wins.  Recognize the success of your team - the other stuff can wait. A well-informed team already knows of the challenges that may lie ahead and is prepared to handle them. Let celebrating your wins stand on its own.  Do not dilute what your team accomplished. Interestingly, February came and they beat our target for that month as well.....and did it again in March.

Congrats to my dad (Tim Barlow) on 30 years at the same company- that’s very rare in this day and age. He’s taught me a lot in life but here are a few thing’s that stick out to me at the moment. 1. Do one thing everyday of your life that scares you. True growth happens when you are out of your comfort zone. 2. When you tell someone that you are going to do something, do it: when you inevitably make a mistake because we are human, take accountability for it and don’t let it happen again. 3. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Work hard where you are at and God will handle the rest. 4. The harder you work - fhe “luckier” you get. 5. Underachievers can’t stand overachievers and overachievers can’t stand underachievers. 6. The difference in the person at the top of the leaderboards every month and the person at the bottom of the leaderboards every month boils down to their mindset and discipline. 7. Whether you think you can or think you can’t - you’re right.

It's also important for fitness professionals to measure progress of our clients with more than just a scale, using inches lost, energy gained and other intangibles, will help with long term buy in. Small or big. Take the time to celebrate this week’s wins- the progress you've made, the challenges you've overcome, and the goals you've achieved. Recognizing these accomplishments is not just about giving yourself a pat on the back; it's about reinforcing the behaviors and strategies that led to your success. So, let's take the time to celebrate all the wins of this week, for they are the stepping stones to our continued growth and excellence.

Had an amazing breakfast with a friend and mentor— he’s an RVP that still personally produces because he enjoys helping the “right client.” We chatted about titles and how everyone has different perspectives about them. We chatted about ideal clients in both of our spaces. (We’re in different industries.) We chatted about the feeling of validation and the sense of accomplishment you get after closing a deal. It made me realize, that I too, enjoy the same thing. Winners like to know they’re winning. How do you know you’re winning? And even further— How does your team know they’re winning?

The secret to having an easy life whilst doing hard things👇 ... is to celebrate every win! There is nothing wrong with having an easy life, but you are led to believe there is. What are you celebrating today? More specifically, what part of you are you celebrating? You see, you are so conditioned to celebrate wins! Big wins like a new job, new house 🏠 new baby 👶 a promotion 😁 that you forget to celebrate the very reason, the very thing the wins are here in the first place!🤯😮💥 Yes, YOU! You forget to celebrate yourself, your very being, all the great things you bring to this world by just being YOU. because your self-image (ironically created by other people's limitations🙄) is not where you think you need to be! Listen, you are exactly where you need to be right now!🥰 Celebrate every moment, every win... and dare I say every loss because even that creates new space for what needs to be in your life right now! When you see that, you'll feel much better and your life will become much easier! You can do hard things, for sure, but it doesn't mean you have to make your life hard and suffer! Sarah and I have a tradition – we celebrate our wins – from small milestones to bigger achievements. Here’s why this is such a wonderful thing to do, that you'll never regret... So often, the year feels like a 12-month cycle of goal achievement. We set goals, work hard, monitor progress, get to the last quarter, start stressing, and end up with a result at the end. Do we celebrate or sulk? That feels like way too much pressure to me, and it doesn’t give credit to all the good things that happen along the way. It’s also gives to much power to arbitrary goals. We love what we do. We’re committed it all for the long haul. Every milestone, every win, every step of progress – it’s all something to celebrate. What good thing happened recently? Great! It's a win. Go have a nice dinner to celebrate. You’ll be so glad you did.
