Hi Applied Flow Technology (AFT) Thanks for the information also I have 2 questions on slurry pump hydraulics 1. How to decide the derating factor for slurry pumps? (Which we see while giving us inputs for the pump) and What is its impact on design? I have started runes by giving 5-30% and compared the design data of the pump in the output window. But I see no difference in the punp head. There is an API guideline number given but I am not able to find much details. 2. There are 2 models for slurry pump hydraulics on the page where we give inputs for solid properties. Which one needs to use when? (Newtonian model vs Setting slurry model) I have compared many different pumps by using both models and keeping all other data constant. I found a 30-40% difference in my head. It seems that the wrong selection between these two without knowing in detail will end up with either over or under sizing of slurry pumps. I found some basic answers but could you please elaborate with proper dealing! #aft
