"Are there less claims right now?" I've been asked this A LOT recently. New independent adjusters and appraisers have no idea if it is normal for claims to be slower in January or not. The answer is... YES. January and February are typically the slowest months of the year for independent insurance adjusters. January and February are GREAT months for getting on additional rosters, earning new certifications, taking additional trainings, and networking as conferences like NACA --. What about the rest of the year?
