The last article in our World IP Day series focusses on the Circular Textiles Foundation’s certification mark. Many consumers are increasingly interested in sustainable fashion, helping ensure the fashion industry align with SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth), SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production) and SDG 13 (climate action). The Circular Textiles Foundation seeks to make fashion sustainable, which is supported by their certification mark as explained by their director Tim Cross “not only guides consumer choices but also encourages the wider industry to meet the criteria required to qualify for this certification.
