This 👇🏼is a must read “ George Stephanopoulos gave us a bracing reminder of how corrupt and contemptible Trump's sycophants are. In his interview with Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Stephanopoulos had the following exchange with Sununu:Stephanopoulos: Just to sum up. You support Trump for president even if he's convicted in the classified documents case. You support him for president even though you believe he contributed to an insurrection. You support him for president even though you believe he's lying about the last election. You support him for president even if he's convicted in the Manhattan case. I just want to say, the answer to that is yes, correct?Sununu: Yeah. Me and 51 percent of America. That exchange will be Sununu’s epitaph. It will define him as a person who was feckless and indifferent to the point of treason. At a time when democracy was threatened, he could not be bothered to stand on principle. There are many words to describe Sununu’s response. I will let you fill in the blanks in the Comment section or a reply email to me.There will be an accounting when this difficult period in our history is behind us. Those who rose to defend democracy will be taken for granted and forgotten. But those who abandoned it will have a special place in our national memory. Indeed, Chris Sununu has become—for all times—the face of capitulation to fascism. Nothing else he does or says will erase that moment—or the stupid smirk of self-recognition as he realizes that he just admitted to America who he really is. See video here: Stephanopoulos and Sununu exchange.Yes, there will be an accounting for our actions—even if it takes place only in our mirror each morning as we stare at ourselves and ask, “Did I do enough when my nation needed me?”For all of us, the answer must be a resounding “Yes,”—because we must fill the breach left by cowards and ingrates like Chris Sununu. But it has always been so in every moment of peril for our nation. Let’s not bemoan our fate but gladly accept the duty of preserving democracy for the next generation!”https://lnkd.in/ezmQPN6m

Never measuring up — that is the pain of growing up in a storied family. It’s true for those who grew up with enormous wealth; it’s also true for those with parents of legendary reputations. One of my hopes for this book is to offer readers a glimpse into the challenges of earning external recognition, a form of legitimacy, within the land of giants. Even more important, I want to explore the internal struggle to answer the question, “Who am I?” Many who would be classified as part of the Rising generation inevitably find themselves on a personal quest for legitimacy. For many, it is an active pursuit. While there is no formula for accomplishing legitimacy within one’s tribe (extended family) or a clear rite of passage to help those growing up feel that they have made it, this book will illuminate the path. The stories in this book come from a global study of the Rising generation and their journey to find legitimacy Interested in reading more? It seems there are a lot of cash poor CEOs running around in the SMB space. I’ve been told by more than one prospective client that PE/VC is so greedy in regards to terms right now that capital is effectively unaffordable for companies needing catalyst cash but not wanting to loose control of the board and operations. Combine that current state of affairs with what happens after “professional money” comes into series A or B rounds and how that impacts security, it really adds up to no mystery of how we have a situation where we: 💡have a huge demand for #cybersecuy talent 💡have a large pool of unemployed / underemployed existing cyber workforce members struggling to find jobs and contracts 🤔 It’s kinda like we’re in a paradox. It’s schroeingers cybersecurity conundrum… how can we both need and not have cybersecurity jobs? Gregorie Thomas provides us with a compelling article about what happens at a lot of places after “big money” gets involved with companies of all sizes receiving funding. Add all this together and we’re going to continue to see things getting worse, not better, on the cyberattack and privacy breaches… especially in the private sector. Say some prayers because things are gonna get bumpier over the coming years.
So I finally sat down and wrote my first article on Medium. I'd love any feedback or thoughts on it. Thanks for reading in advance.

Hi all. The latest column published on my Substack, Just the Business, is a guest post from former Hellaby Holdings and Abano managing director Alan Clarke and it describes what it was like to attend three Berkshire Hathaway AGMs, including this year's, the first without legendary deputy chair, Charlie Munger, who died in November. You can find it here and it's free to all to read: https://lnkd.in/etEXi2d3

Our new paper illustrates a new mechanism "Plural Management" that bridges the desired properties of rigid management hierarchies and flat decentralized organizations, allowing for the dynamic allocation of management authority based on longitudinal contributions of individuals to outcomes and management decisions. I am excited about how this mechanism, that will underpin the work being done by the Gov4Git Foundation, will enhance open-source project development to increase project participation and collective intelligence.
