It was a pleasure to connect with the Arabs@ colleagues at Meta in Dublin and discuss issues facing the region and some of the opportunties we and exciting things that we are seeing unfold. It’s always inspiring to me to meet with young Arabs from around the world reshaping our identity and pushing the more positive narrative of the region forward. Forward and upward!
Yesterday, the Arabs@ Ireland community hosted Fares Akkad, our Regional Director of Middle East & Africa, and the head of the Dubai office at Meta. I had the pleasure of facilitating the conversation with Fares about his inspirational career, the role of our region to the global business, and the status of Arabs@ Meta community in light of the recent tragic events. Thank you for coming to Dublin and talking to us, Fares! We look forward to hosting you again🙏🏽 Special thanks to Dina Ibrahim Saad & Ahmad Y. for your leadership and partnership to make this happen!
