👽 Helldivers 2 launched last week so we've compared its critical reception with other titles released by its publisher and other titles in the same video game genre. This new intergalactic shooter is a continuation from its predecessor and is developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Helldivers 2 continues to thrill players with its over-the-top gameplay and humor. It’s currently 5th on SteamDB’s most played chart! It’s a rich mine of player generated content too. I went on TikTok and within 10 minutes saw at least three incredible videos about Helldivers 2 lore, player Machinima and this hilarious short from @stabsgta. When my colleagues and I talk Helldivers 2, our takeaway is that Arrowhead Game Studios set their vision and then proceeded to follow this mantra: Go All The Way Don’t stop short #gamedevs and #gamepublishers. Go all the way and give players more incredible, hilarious and memorable moments like this.
