FFL would like to highlight Cole Eblen as our feature for this week's Rising Star! Cole helped 417 families YTD! "Success in life insurance sales is twofold. The first key to success is maintaining a consistent spending schedule. Spend the same amount each week at the same time(s) every week. If you're not satisfied with your returns but have a good closing ratio, consider increasing your spending. I recommend buying at least two different types of leads at a time to avoid becoming complacent with the same pitch on every call. This approach also allows you to compare the performance of different leads and see which yields better results. The second key is to constantly seek improvement in both skill and will, regardless of how long you’ve been in the business. There's always more to learn and more ways to enhance your mindset. Skill involves refining your tone, discovery process, value building, pitch, and handling rebuttals. If any of these areas are less than perfect, it's time to watch some training videos, do some role-plays, or listen to your calls. Once you feel your skills are polished to the point where there’s little left to improve, focus on willpower. How can you train your mind to be more resilient and take things less personally? What new goals can you set to make yourself hungrier for success? What systems or practices can you implement to motivate yourself to wake up earlier, read more, watch less TV, eat healthier, or exercise more? What can you do to sustain your energy throughout the day? What strategies can help you catch your second wind after a busy morning? Focusing on skill first and will second is a surefire recipe for continuous growth in sales and in life." - Cole Eblen
