Lady Deadpool’s full reveal has fans speculating on the actor behind the mask (Blake Lively? Taylor Swift?). Baldur’s Gate 3 had a story that changed throughout development. I recently got a small glimpse into their cinematics and worldbuilding team, and man was that cool to hear about! Anyway, with the story endlessly shifting, there was no perfect plan that could be set up beforehand. Some things got cut that had already been worked on, some things had to be done last minute because of the changes. When I talked with John O'Brien and Greg Lidstone about how they handled it, Greg said something that jumped out to me. He remembered being sad at some things that ended up cut, but he also didn’t specifically remember what they were any more. Further, he called out that sometimes to make something better you have to remove things. I think it’s easy - in the moment - to think we have to do it all. But that’s almost never true in game dev. The work you just spent two weeks on FEELS really important right now. But I guarantee you can think back to times in your career where you spent two weeks working on something that didn’t actually matter much. Hindsight might be 20/20, but we only get it later. This is tough stuff. You can’t ignore the hard decisions of what to cut, keep, and improve. You have to make those calls as an individual, a leader, a team, and a studio. Create an environment where people can make those calls. It sounds like Larian did, and it's one of many reasons they produced such an amazing game. Just because #DeadpoolWolverine did well doesnt mean we need yet more... Do we need another Deadpool...no. Do we need Deadpool in the Avengers or Xmen mash-up... no Do we need more Avengers... No Do we need the same sodding cast playing different characters... No But we will get them all! Am I angry about that. Not at all. Fine, do what you need to do, make films that keep making money. You cant complain that they are succedding. Let them, but now the thing is to make sure that you make better films. Its not disney money you are after to make your indie. It is investors that want to take a chance on Talent and Skill. And a distribution network that works for you. Moaning about Deadpool, Marvel or Disney will get you nowhere. Lets prove to them that we can make movies for 200th of their budget. But gross well. Investors want a strong business plan, recognisable names and people that can go get it with their creativity and make them money! - so go out there and create it!

With the highly anticipated release of the third instalment of Deadpool featuring both Deadpool and Wolverine, now is the best time to revisit some key films that reveal their backstories. These movies highlight the origins and evolution of these iconic characters, setting the stage for their upcoming team-up. Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine began with the 2000 film X-Men and continued through 10 films, including X2: X-Men United (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). Wolverine's story was further explored in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), with a cameo in X-Men: First Class (2011). His journey continued in The Wolverine (2013), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). Wolverine's apparent retirement in Logan (2017) seemed final, but he made a brief cameo in Deadpool 2 (2018) through unused footage. The character’s return in Deadpool and Wolverine promises a new chapter in his storied history, suggesting his retirement was only temporary. Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson, is a Marvel anti-hero famous for his irreverent humour, fourth-wall-breaking antics, and regenerative healing factor. Portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool first appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) but truly came into his own in Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). Deadpool’s comedic approach to crime-fighting, involving meta-commentary and pop culture references, and his interactions with Wolverine promise an exciting dynamic in Deadpool and Wolverine. #DeadpoolandWolverine #MCU #Disney #MarvelStudios moneycontrol.com
