𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗮🚢 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴, located on the Lower Elbe, is about 100 kilometers from where the Elbe flows into the North Sea 🌊. It is nevertheless considered a seaport ⚓, as it can be called at by seagoing vessels with a draught of up to 15 meters. Smaller cruise vessels, including older "pots" from the AIDA fleet 🛳️, often moor at Cruise Center Altona. The environmentally friendly facilities of the Cruise Center Altona are particularly noteworthy 🌱. Since 2016, ships can be 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿⚡𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. The 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗔𝘀𝗼𝗹 🛳️ 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. The shore power supply allows the ships to switch off their engines while they are docked, which leads to a significant reduction in emissions. The Cruise Center Altona opened in 2011 with a quay length of 360 meters 📏. Ships up to 300 meters long can dock there. In 2023, SFT delivered 2 foam filled Ocean Guard Fenders with a diameter of 3000 x 4500mm and a weight of 4,500 kg. The terminal impresses with its central location 🌍: the famous fish market 🎣 and the Oevelgönne museum harbor 🏛️ are within easy walking distance, allowing travelers to experience Hamburg's maritime flair up close. The sixth Hanza Media conference on road safety was about green transition: The strengthening of public transport and the use of bicycles, as well as the acceleration of the introduction of electric and hybrid vehicles, are the key levers of the green transition in domestic road transport, it was pointed out at yesterday's sixth Hanza Media Conference dedicated to road safety under the title "Green transition of the transport system of Croatia and EU". The technical director of Bina-Istra Group, Mr Christian Santaleza, also participated in the discussion, who pointed out that, due to the high level of safety, since 1981, not a single serious traffic accident with fatalities has been recorded in the Učka tunnel. We are installing an energy-efficient ventilation system and LED lighting in the existing tunnel tube in order to increase energy efficiency, but also safety. Mr Santaleza discovered that during the tourist season, more and more electric vehicles are seen on the Istrian Y. Taking into account the current situation and the growing number of electric vehicles on Croatian and European roads, Bina-Istra Group has decided to launch a tender whose purpose is to collect offers and provide domestic and foreign users of electric vehicles with the highest quality supporting infrastructure on the Istrian Y in the form of super-fast electric charging stations. #motorway #construction #hanzamedia #conference
