Sorry Fadi Ghandour but what’s the point of calling for a ceasefire when they can’t stop Unilever selling their products in settlements, or under their new Israeli-based license ?

That's what's been missing - an authoritative statement from Ben and Jerry! Now things will settle down for sure!

They stopped selling their products to Israel recently as well. Incredible company, superior product, fundamental values. https://www.benjerry.com/about-us/media-center/opt-statement

Perspective adjustment: Calling such move positive doesn’t mean we believe they are the saviors, but the more supporting voices the better for the case. After all, with better than against.

This might be controversial, but corporations have no business (pun intended) dabbling in politics. It's against their very nature. By taking a side, you inevitably alienate a group of consumers, which is not good for growth and profit, the primary and only motivation of corporations.

I never thought it would be controversial to want peace. 2 weeks in 2024 and it keeps on giving.

yes! When all those big brands demand for ceasefire and also take action to limit / impact the distribution or availability of their products in the occupied territory, they will then put pressure on their mother companies and eventually on governments!
