Urgent Call to Action: Safeguarding Our State from Cybercrime. Dear Friends, As we navigate the vast expanse of the digital world, our state and the country is facing an ominous threat - the unchecked rise of cybercrime. With our law enforcement agencies stretched to the limit, it's imperative we bolster our defences. To this end, I've submitted a comprehensive representation to the DGP, UP, and ACS Home, UP, highlighting the dire need for enhanced cybersecurity measures. Through rigorous research and meticulous analysis, I've devised actionable solutions to combat this scourge. My proposals aim to Fortify Cybersecurity Infrastructure, Enhance our state's capacity to detect and prevent cyber threats, Empower Law Enforcement, Provide personnel with cutting-edge training and resources and to protect Innocent Victims, while also aiming to ensure swift justice and support for those affected. I sincerely hope these recommendations will prompt swift action, restoring peace of mind to our citizens. If you're interested in learning more, and having a copy of my representation, please DM me. Together, let's safeguard our state's digital frontiers. Sincerely, S Mohammad Haider Rizvi, Advocate #CyberCrime #CyberFraud #OnlineFraud #Phishing #Cyberbullying #SeniorCitizens #CyberThugs

Amidst the digital age, cybersecurity is not just a concern; it's a collective responsibility. In this conference, which is organized by the SEED Foundation in collaboration with the University of Sulaimani , we delve into the critical realm of cybercrime. Together, let's shine a light on technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), dissect the root causes, and analyze the consequences. Our mission extends beyond awareness – It's time to take cybersecurity seriously and work hand-in-hand to create a safer digital world for all. #iQGroup #SEEDFoundation #TFGBV

Nice one we saw Anis Ahmed share and the full report was developed by Miranda B. and her colleagues at the University of Oxford. The WCI identifies the biggest cybercrime hotspots by ranking countries according to their level of cybercriminality – how significant that country’s cybercrime output is, how impactful it is, and the level of professional and technical skill of the cybercriminals who operate there. . I recently appeared on the TVC breakfast morning session to discuss the challenges of cybercrime and how we can overcome them. Kudos to the EFCC for bringing the urgent need for cybercrime countermeasures to the attention of the Presidency. It's time to rework our approach to effectively mitigate these issues. State governments and other stakeholders must step up and fulfill their roles more than ever. We need to restore our international reputation by implementing decentralized cybercrime legislation and legal frameworks. Since cybersecurity isn't included in the Federal Government's exclusive list of responsibilities, state governments should enact their own cybercrime laws. This would allow for the enforcement of regulations targeting cybercriminal activities at the state level, in coordination with the EFCC and other federal agencies. They cannot tackle this challenge alone. Do you agree with me ? #EFCC #NPF-National Cybercrime Center #NITDA #NDPC #Cybercrime #Ngcert #NGF

Perhaps the top risks are not surprising, given the ongoing conflict in several regions, escalating climate change and fast-evolving tech landscape. But it is worth paying attention to some of the risks that are as yet under the radar. They reveal a much wider and interconnected picture of global risk.
