We are delighted to introduce yet another outstanding member of our summer 2024 intern class, Aidan Briddell, a sophomore at Cornell University pursuing a degree in Hotel Administration with a specialization in Real Estate. In his short time at CenterSquare, Aidan has already made a meaningful impact while working alongside our Strategic Capital team. We’re thrilled to have him on board and eagerly anticipate his continued growth and success. Continue reading below to learn more about Aidan: 1. What are you looking forward to at CenterSquare? I am eager to continue meeting and getting to know CenterSquare’s professionals. I’m also looking forward to taking part in site tours and learning how investment opportunities are evaluated. I have felt very welcome the past few weeks and am grateful to be here. I know I have much to learn, and I am excited to absorb as much as I can throughout my internship. 2. What’s the most significant lesson you’ve learned thus far, and how has it impacted you? The most significant lesson I have learned is to always ask questions. Staying curious, especially around others who are more experienced, has helped me learn so much. It can be uncomfortable getting settled in a new environment, but I have learned that others are always my most valuable resource. 3. What is the best piece of professional advice you have ever received? The best piece of professional advice I have received is to constantly look for ways to expand my point of view. Whether through meeting new people, creating experiences, or learning about new topics, I try my best to absorb and consider as much of what is around me as possible. I have found this advice to be very impactful as it has helped me look at situations from multiple angles and allowed me to make better and more informed decisions. 4. As a child, what career did you want to have when you “grew up?” As a child, I wanted to become an astronaut and visit a new planet. I always thought the idea of being the first human to live outside Earth was so fascinating. 5. What is at the top of your bucket list? Right now, I’d choose to dive at the Great Barrier Reef. I love being outdoors, especially in the ocean, and diving at the reef is next on my list! #CenterSquare #SummerInternship #Spotlight

What skills have you gained from your current internship at TREND? The TREND team is very intentional about giving interns the opportunity to grow in their professional portfolio. I’ve learned so much about the work that goes into managing upcoming artists, from creating content to helping artists show off their unique brand! What is your favorite aspect of your internship? My favorite aspect of interning at TREND is the community that the staff have built. Whether you’re an intern, client, or employee you can feel the energy and care out into this company. What inspired you to pursue a career in the music industry? I’ve been playing music for most of my life. Music has the ability to move and connect people deeply, and throughout my life I have felt that impact. As our intern spotlight series continues, we’re excited to introduce Lauren Spallone, an incoming senior studying marketing and analytics at Bloomsburg University. This summer, Lauren is interning with our Investor Relations team, bringing a unique blend of creativity and analytical expertise to our projects. Read on below to learn more about Lauren. 1. What is the best piece of professional advice you have ever received? The best piece of professional advice I have received is to be well-rounded in all aspects of a company. Knowing how a company works from all positions gives you a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge of how to succeed professionally. This is why I chose to pursue a marketing analytics degree to understand the creative and analytical side of marketing. 2. Can you recall a specific project or accomplishment that you're particularly proud of? What was your role in making it successful? In 2022, I was selected to represent Bloomsburg University in an International Business competition held in San Diego. Our team was tasked with developing a global expansion strategy for a business in 24 hours. Through this experience, I learned how to work under pressure, collaborate with team members, and present in front of a big audience. To this day I still use the skills I learned to approach challenges with confidence and navigate projects with colleagues. 3. If you could share some advice with your younger self, what would it be? I would tell my younger self to live in the moment and not worry about the future. It is easy to lose sight of the present when you focus on what the future will bring. I would reassure my younger self that as long as she works hard and stays positive, her future will work out the way she wants. 4. What is at the top of your bucket list? At the moment, I’m most passionate about backpacking through Southeast Asia for a couple of months. Exploring different cultures, meeting new people, and immersing myself in local experiences are why I find traveling so enriching. 5. If you could try something knowing you would not fail, what would it be? Knowing I would not fail, I would dedicate myself to learning as many languages as possible. Communicating fluently in different languages opens up the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in someone’s culture. #CenterSquare #SummerInternship #Spotlight
