Designed for performance on the track: the new all-electric #Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package in Purple Sky Metallic. Even more laser sharp in its positioning: With additional aerodynamics and lightweight construction measures, this model is even more resolutely designed for performance. The speed of the thing is acknowleged but Porsche have demeaned their history for some perceived marketing advantage in labelling this abberation a 'turbo'. Social responsibility also demands a mandatory PDE requirement before handing over a car this powerful to the uninitiated. Thanks for somewhat fixing that front end, btw; but still not the 'smiling' Porsche look we've historically admired. Leave the mean and arrogant image to BMW and MBZ. We're much more fun than that!

Vielleicht bemerkt eines Tages der verantwortliche Vorstand des Konzerns das in der Sparte Porsche der Verbrennungsmotor nicht nur Sinn macht sondern vom Verstand der damit verbundenen Emotionalität der eigentliche Kern des Modells 911 ist. Wer Träume zerstört im Bewusstsein neue Träume zu verwircklichen darf zumindest darauf hingwiesen sein das ein Porsche 911 bei aller Weiterentwickling dem Traum von kinderhand leicht gteichnet und bestaunt noch selten entspricht. Früher machte Geschmack einsam. Heute versucht keampfhaftes Design Geschmack zu erzeugen. Schade aber gewollt.

Und nich angemerkend hinzu gefügt, natürlich täüschen sich Menschen wie Walter Röhrl, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman und der unschuldige James Dean. Es geht um das sowohl als auch.
