5 and 25! 👀 This week marks my 5th anniversary at Solutions Driven, just as the company is approaching it's own 25th anniversary! 🎈 I think about how much the recruitment market has changed in the last 5 years, but just go back another 10, 15, 20 years... No LinkedIn. No Boolean. Barely even a Google. 😱 Recruitment was about people. Or at least it was meant to be. But it earned itself a bad reputation for being all about the hustle, about the money and glorifying the "bad side" of sales. That's what shaded my opinion of the sector at least. Then in 2018 a redundancy lead to a conversation with a former colleague and an introduction to Gavin Speirs, Walter G Speirs and Nicki Paterson. Somehow all my predispositions about recruitment companies didn't fit. 5 years later, we're still breaking down those barriers. 💪🏼 After 25 years, a recruiter who focuses on quality over quantity. On candidate care above the fee. We hear a surprising amount of people respond with: "um no...I think we covered everything" Instead say "If you hired me today, how will you know in a year's time, that I was a right fit?"
