My colleague Rachel W. had a fantastic remark on workplace engagement. Please see below her post. It got me thinking... - we barely meet people, in-person, post pandemic as we are comfortable with digital communications. Nothing wrong with e-comms as it's efficient, swift and supports our reach globally, however, t does leave space for ineffective relationship building. We aim to always ask candidates and clients alike to meet in person. It's just a tad bit tricky with remote working and people being in different locations - domestic and global I am reiterating and by extension highlighting, that, yes, it's more efficient to send a text, email, what's app message, snap chat etc. BUUUUTTT being in person, understanding the nuances and reading between the lines (in person) is far much more advantageous and your understating of the requirement of service. Meeting in person is great and I would love to see more of that again!!! To my network, what does your industry now prefer? In person or virtual meetings?
