The 21'st century is a time where the importance of mental health is highlighted and recognised. the importance of mental health is just as important as physiological health The future is promising for a society of healthy, happy, wealthy and highly functional individuals.

👑 Mental health is finally getting the attention it deserves! As someone working in mental health, I couldn't agree more with the King's statement. It's about time! I specialise in helping adults, young adults, and teenagers through Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, and Mental Toughness workshops. I offer both online and face-to-face sessions to reach and support as many individuals as possible, especially the youth who have been in need of help for a long time. Let's hope this shift in focus leads to reduced wait times and a wider range of support options. Everyone is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. It's crucial to provide tailored support and choices. If you're going through a tough time, don't hesitate to reach out. I work with individuals of all ages and genders, with a special interest in sports, particularly football, and the 13-26 age group. Remember, you're not alone. Yesterday was the #KingsSpeech, where King Charles set out the new government’s plans for the coming year. It was a BIG day for everyone who had been campaigning for changes to the outdated Mental Health Act. But there were many other announcements which are likely to positively impact people with mental health problems, such as proposals to ban exploitative zero hours contracts, reforms to sick pay, extending flexible working to all workers, or the extension of equal pay claims, for example. Mind stands ready to work with the new UK government to make sure we seize this opportunity to create the set of reforms we need now more than ever. #nomindleftbehind

It is just as important as physical health and shapes young people's futures. 👉 Early intervention for children is key. 👉 Improving design and structures of safeguarding systems, which also impact on child mental health. 👉 Time to change. Young people matter. 👉 Please Listen to the views of our children and young people. Their views matter. 👉 Reform and restructure. 👉 Holistic, child centred services. 👉 Children/ young people are not tick boxes. Mental health and wellbeing matters! 💚 It's great to see it featured in the King's Speech yesterday. There has been so much stigma around mental health for so long, particularly within industries such as ours that fall under the wider construction sector.
