Finding the right church is a profound journey, seeking to align with God's calling for where He wants us to be. Leaving a great church can stir a mix of emotions—gratitude for the past and anticipation for the future. Joining a new church can evoke excitement, but also uncertainty. How do we discern if a church is right for us? Biblically, we're called to seek a place where God's Word is faithfully taught (2 Timothy 3:16-17), where love and fellowship abound (Hebrews 10:24-25), and where serving others is paramount (1 Peter 4:10-11). Changing churches can be a pivotal part of one's faith journey. It might stem from relocation, spiritual growth, or a shift in denominational beliefs. Here are 4 ways to fulfill this commandment in today's context 👇 1️⃣ Personal Relationships and Discipleship: Invest in intentional, one-on-one relationships with individuals who desire to grow in their faith. 2️⃣ Small Group Discipleship: Form or join small groups focused on discipleship. 3️⃣ Evangelism and Missions: Be intentional about building relationships with unbelievers, demonstrating Christ's love and compassion, and sharing the hope found in Him. 4️⃣ Discipleship Resources and Technology: Make use of social media platforms to engage with individuals, answer questions, and provide spiritual guidance. Remember, making disciples is an ongoing process that requires patience, love, and perseverance. As we fulfill the Great Commission, we rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance and seek to reflect the character of Christ in all we do. ❤️
