EuroPython reposted this
Just arrived back in Hamburg from EuroPython 2024 in Prague! I had the great pleasure of volunteering for an entire seven days st this years iteration, including two days of tutorials, three days of talks and two days of public sprints to support #opensource projects. Between great tutorials, amazing talks and productive sprints there also was some time to catch a breath, discover Prague, and have some fun! I want to send a huge thanks out to all those, who made this conference so memorable. Especially the organisers, fellow volunteers and speakers, but also all other attendees made this first Europython a very memorable experience for me and everyone else involved. To the friends we made along the way! Hope to see you all soon! (In no particular order, thank you: Tymon Masiarek, Laís Carvalho, Jakub Červinka, Barbora Hůlová, Aris Nivorlis, Anezka Muller, George Zisopoulos, George Margaritis, Panagiotis Kyrillos, Piotr Gnus, Mia Bajić, Jodie Burchell, PhD, Theofanis Petkos, Sofia C., Moisés Guimarães de Medeiros, Martin Borus, Sangarshanan Veera, Sebastiaan Zeeff, Rodrigo Girão Serrão, Jakub Balas, Ege Akman, shekhar koirala and many many many others!) (The string Art in the first picture was made by Yair Galler and presented during his amazing talk „I reverse engineered a work of art, and this is what I learned“, which I was lucky enough to be the session chair for!)
