Three ways to build new referral relationships for your law firm... 1- Find something in a bar publication, social media, etc. to congratulate another lawyer this week. Reach out via handwritten card and set up a coffee to talk shop about the case/matter with them. (Bonus points if it's a law firm owner/partner.) 2- Build a list of 10 related professionals. (Think marital therapists for family law, chiros for PI, financial advisors for estate planning, etc.) All it takes is a simple Google search. Follow a simple 1-1-1 method of one phone call, one email, and one mailer to find time to talk with them. 3- Reach out to in-state contacts on LinkedIn. Take at least three "virtual relationships" and find time to meet in person or at least over Zoom. The system is the same for all three. Find the right person or people. Reach out. Schedule time to talk. Rinse and repeat. If you keep the end goal the same, then all you need to do is focus on new and creative ways to meet your objective of meeting people. ---- Want more advanced referral marketing strategies?
