Being a Christian is not a vocation (like father, mother, son, daughter, citizen, employee, etc.), since vocation is primarily about my responsibilities in the world. Being a Christian is an identity. It is who I am every minute of every hour of every day. And it permeates and informs every aspect of my vocations. Being a Christian is about living my Life in Christ! Want to learn more? Pick up “Life in Christ: Rooted, Woven, and Grafted into God’s Story." A HIDDEN TREASURE FROM ABOVE In the tapestry of nature, God's gifts lie, Each hidden treasure beneath the sky. In every leaf, a story unfolds, In every breeze, a secret told. From the tallest tree to the smallest ant, Nature's wonders are never scant. In every stream, in every glen, There's a tale of life, again and again. The sun that rises, the moon that wanes, In their dance, eternity reigns. For in nature's embrace, we find solace profound, In its beauty, true serenity is found. "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better," said Albert Einstein. So let's cherish this web, this intricate lace, For it's a gift from God, a sacred space. #Nature #Beauty #GodsGifts #Appreciation #AlbertEinstein #Intricacy #Serenity Hopefully you enjoy my posts and will follow me on LinkedIn Brian Coleman A Heart 2 Help

Sometimes, our true intentions get lost in the hustle. 🕊️ Here's a gentle reminder from 1 John 3:18: Love is more than just words—it's action, it's reality, it's truth. 🤲 In today’s fast-paced world, showing love through our actions speaks louder than any words we could whisper. Imagine turning everyday moments into opportunities for kindness, much like the Good Samaritan did on his journey. Let this scripture inspire you to transform your good intentions into acts of genuine care and connection. 🌿 How will you show love through action today? #ActsofKindness #LoveInAction #GenuineLove #SpiritualJourney #Christianity #Jesus #FaithInAction #HeartfeltActions #BiblicalLove #ModernDisciples #SpreadLove #ChristianLiving #DailyInspiration #ServeOthers #LoveDeeply #FaithAndWorks #InspirationalLiving #EmpathyInAction #CommunityCare #ChristianService #BibleVerse #ServeWithLove #PracticalFaith #MakeADifference #GodsWork

https://lnkd.in/gMnVny83 In Matthew 25, we read about servants who stewarded what was given to them with diligence and wisdom. They were later described as good and faithful servants. As dads, we have been entrusted with priceless gifts and I believe we should also strive to be good, faithful, and servants. Being good can be subjective but I’ll give you a definition and question to constantly ask yourself to make sure what you are doing is good. Faithfulness is usually tied to religion and marriage but there is also an application in reference to fatherhood that we must understand. Lastly, there is an understanding of servanthood that isn’t popular but as leaders to our children and in our homes, it is essential for us to embrace. If we want to do well as dads, we need to pursue being good, faithful, and servants. #Christiandad #fatherhood #servantleadership #bible #good #parenting

A young seminarian friend recently told me he wish he could understand the reason why some people suddenly felt great resistance to coming to mass. My response to him was that there is no singular reason, but that every person who struggles to come to mass or who have left the church has a unique story. Each person has a unique story - the resistance to God or mass or religion (it takes different forms) always has a context. And very often, if we had discerning hearts and took the time to listen to their stories, we would not only have compassion for them, we may even be surprised at seeing God's hand in leading them away from church at this point in their lives! Easter is often a time when churches welcome Catholics who have been away from church for a time home. In fact, you may even have been encouraged to invite someone you know who has been away from church back to mass this Easter. But do you know the deeper reasons WHY you are doing it? If you wish to be genuinely and authentically loving to those who have been estranged from church (in whatever way, shape or form), I entreat you to reflect more deeply before inviting them to come home this Easter, and to be more conscious and self-aware of where your impulse to ask them to return to church comes from. And please do not assume that just because someone has left home means they are lost, or that those who never left home are truly found. As Tolkien famously wrote: “All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.” Seasons of exile, doubt, trial and crisis are often the ways that God tests and matures our faith. Let us not be afraid but trust and discern before we act! - Ann Yeong #interiorjourney #healing #integration #easter #comehome #catholics #discernment #motivaton #selfknowledge #selfaware
