The INVL Partner Global Infrastructure Fund I, a closed-end #investment #fund intended for #informed #investors which invests in the #infrastructure fund of a world-class asset manager, is beginning an #offering of fund units. The fund’s units are distributed by the INVL Šeimos biuras. “The that is money raised from investors will be employed by a global fund with the majority of its assets under management in infrastructure the UK and the US. We think this asset class is a good way for investors to diversify their portfolio and, of course, protect their investments from loss of value due to inflation over the long term,” says Paulius Zurauskas, the CEO of INVL Asset Management, which manages the INVL Partner Global Infrastructure Fund I. An interesting situation at Apollo Global Management, Inc., which cut fees on an extension for its 2013 flagship #privateequity fund after pushback from the fund's investor advisory committee. A few sources described the LPAC reaction as surprising, and indicative of today's fundraising environment, where LPs have a lot more sway in their dealings with firms. Fund extensions are routine in the industry and can lead to negotiations over fees levels, depending in part on the outcomes set in the fund contracts. NEW FUND: The #leading #asset #management group in the Baltics, Invalda INVL, through its subsidiary company INVL Asset Management, has established a #new closed-end #investment #fund for #informed #investors INVL Private Equity Fund II which is the successor of the #private #equity fund INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund. INVL Private Equity Fund II will invest in businesses in the Baltic States, Poland and neighbouring countries. It targets EUR 250 million of capital with a hard cap of EUR 400 million which will make it the largest fund in the Baltics. INVL Private Equity Fund II starts its operations after the Fund rules were approved by the Bank of Lithuania. “We believe that INVL Private Equity Fund II will be the top choice for local and foreign investors who understand our region, the opportunities it presents and are willing to invest in companies operating in the market with sound plans for rapid growth. The capital of the fund and the knowledge of the investment managers will be an additional resource, stimulating the development of the companies and the countries in which investments are made. Invalda INVL team has accumulated over 30 years of experience in acquiring, restructuring, and growing market leaders in the region.
