🌟 Celebrating International Women's Day (IWD)! 🌟 This year's theme, "Inspire Inclusion," highlights the importance of fostering environments where every voice is heard and valued. When we inspire others to understand and appreciate women's inclusion, we pave the way for a more equitable and prosperous future for all. Yesterday, I joined an internal (DHL) master class on "Moving beyond gender" and it was an interesting conversation on how we bring along everyone on this journey. One of the pain points seem to be that (some) men believe that they are being discriminated against especially around the targets for women in management. One of the speakers reiterated an interesting point, if our target is 30% women that means the other 70% is still men (in a world with an almost equal ♀/ ♂ distribution). As some would say “the math ain’t mathing.” Changing this narrative is an important one and having everyone come to the understanding that championing women's inclusion is not a zero-sum game. Its about creating a level playing field where everyone can thrive and contribute their best. Let's continue to uplift, support, and empower one another, today and every day. Together, we can forge a better, more inclusive world for all. #InternationalWomensDay #InspireInclusion 🚀#yellowunited

Happy International Women's Day to all of us! I salute women across all works of life. I pay homage to our strength, our resilience, and our sacrifices oftentimes unacknowledged. And I dare to say, women are not possessions to be owned or human decors to be locked up and admired. Our biological difference does not make us less human. Women are imbued with the intellectual and creative potential to contribute positively to human development. So, what does it mean to 'inspire inclusion', the theme for this year's women's day? Like I always say, start in your own corner. How about supporting other women; allowing other women's success to be an inspiration and not a trigger to destroy; creating an enabling environment for younger women to grow. And if you are a policy maker, adopting gender mainstreaming as a developmental strategy to transform discriminatory social institutions, and laws. Human development needs all hands on deck, both male and female. So, Happy women's day my sisters across the globe. Lets keep the fire burning!

Today is International Women’s Day, and I support women’s empowerment more than ever. I also endorse the values promoted by International Women’s Day. This year, the theme is ‘’Inspire Inclusion’’, and the dedicated sign to share is a heart. “When women aren't present, we must ask: "If not, why not?" When women are discriminated against, we must call out poor practice. When the treatment of women is not equitable, we must take action. And we must do this each time, every time.”- International Women’s Day. Let’s Inspire Inclusion, forging a more inclusive world for women.

This year's theme, #InspireInclusion, resonates deeply. We believe that equal representation and a seat at the table are not just privileges, but fundamental rights. However, inclusion goes beyond simply offering a seat. It is about amplifying diverse voices, addressing unconscious bias, and creating an environment where everyone feels empowered to thrive. How we can all be part of the solution👎 🗣️Amplify women's voices: Share their stories, celebrate their achievements, and actively listen to their perspectives. 😱Challenge bias: Call out inequity when you see it, and advocate for equal opportunities in the workplace and beyond. 👏Be a true ally: Move beyond performative gestures and take tangible actions that support and empower women. This can look like sponsoring mentorship programs, advocating for policy changes, or simply holding others accountable for their behavior. Remember, change starts with each of us. By taking action, big or small, we can collectively create a world where all women can reach their full potential . Mahatma Gandhi once said "The change you wish to see in the world, be the change." Let us work together🤝 to turn #InspireInclusion from a theme into a reality. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY TO US ALL #womenempowerment #inclusion #equality #genderequity #inspireinclusion #internationalwomensday

Happy International Women’s Day! Today I’m making time to reflect on the invaluable contributions from women to me personally, business, society, and the world at large. And it also reminds me of the inequities that still exist. Some of them maybe even my doing. This year’s theme is inspiring inclusion, reminding me of that “when we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world”. To learn more about inspiring inclusion this International Women’s Day, see the link I’ve included in the comments. #internationalwomensday #inspireinclusion

Few sets are as committed to #diversityinlaw as 7BR whose aspirations to inspire inclusion have prompted this memorable post.
At 7BR we are proud to celebrate and support International Women's Day 2024. This year's theme is Inspire Inclusion, a cause that is close to our hearts in Chambers as last year's winners of Chambers UK's "Diversity and Inclusion Outstanding Set of the Year." At 7BR, we strive to recruit, retain and develop female talent and support women into leadership positions. As part of this year's celebrations, we interviewed our new women Silks: Maryam Syed, Susannah Johnson, and Anita Guha to find out more about their journeys at the Bar and what Inspiring Inclusion means to them. #WeAre7BR #InspireInclusion #IWD2024

I had the privilege of working closely with Diana Santiago as a personal trainer, and when the chance for a managerial position emerged, she was the ideal candidate! Her values resonated so deeply with me, as a seasoned trainer, that I chose to remain and work under her leadership during the acquisition. Thank you, Diana, for valuing our voices! To all my fellow trainers: keep making yourselves heard! 🙌🏼
