EPA Training Center doesn't just offer training on Full Flight Simulators. We go far beyond that, as aviation involves many other aspects that are important for flight safety. That's why EPA offers more theoretical courses, such as Fatigue Management, CFIT, International Air Traffic and Electronic Flight Bag. These courses are aimed at companies that are under Brazilian rules of RBAC 135 and are looking to comply with their Operational Training Program and optimize their operations. 📷 Microsoft ☎️ +55 41 99268-7205 (WhatsApp) ✉️ [email protected] #pilots #pilottraining #jettraining #airsafety #flightsafety #aviation #certificacao #anac #epatrainingcenter

The fundamental principles of aviation revolve around the concepts of rate of climb and rate of descent, which pertain to the vertical motion of an aircraft. Put simply, rate of climb denotes the velocity of ascent, whereas rate of descent indicates the velocity of descent. These velocities are quantified in feet per minute (ft/min) and play pivotal roles in ensuring the safety and efficacy of flight maneuvers. Should pilot training be explicit or tacit? From the airlines to business aviation every training is similar because it values and critics failure. All of us can relate to leaving the Simulator with the check airmen criticing the list of failures after checkride, and small remark section on success. Unless we study human behavior and train to raise the expertise of pilots, simply judging and narrow training regimen for all pilots, we will never raise the lever of expertise. Human behavior in cockpit (not attitude towards colleagues, but setting the right brightness, scale, radar, EGPWS) is foremost in determining the safety of a highly automated flight. #PilotSafety #AviationSafety #PilotTraining #FlightTraining #AviationTraining

Guiding Companies and Individuals to Navigate the Pilot Training Industry I [email protected]
What is the one of the main obstacles to growth in the pilot training industry? Flight instructors! At AFM - Pilot Training Industry Market Intelligence we are tracking a wide segment of flight instructor industry dynamics and have done a number of surveys to gain a better understanding. If anyone is interested in this kindly contact me. We have also been tracking an increasing number of international airline abinitio pilot training programs signing up with United States based flight schools - one of the key reasons for this: availability of flight instructors! Recent data from the US regulator, the FAA, gives an indication of how large the supply of flight instructors is in the US... As of 2023 there were 93,567 certified flight instructors in the US! The US flight training industry is enhancing its global competitive advantage through the ability to build flight training capacity and enhance training timelines. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts. #aviation #pilottraining #aviationnews

Advanced Aircrew Academy's subject matter expert (SME) just published an updated Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) module to include altimeter errors that affect CFIT, decision making processes when conducting visual approaches, and operations in mountainous areas including EGPWS/TAWS information for Rising Terrain on Approaches. This module was updated showing real-world examples experienced by pilots in busy airspace with Pro-Tips and guidance from an actual SME who's flying in the same airspace you are! The CFIT module is designed for pilots flying turboprop and jet aircraft with a Terrain Awareness Warning System (TAWS) installed in the aircraft: Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), or other TAWS system. The module raises awareness of CFIT hazards and best practices to avoid a CFIT accident. The training module provides an overview of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Flight Safety Foundation, and Federal Aviation Administration CFIT Education and Training Aid as it applies to business aircraft operations. Case studies on CFIT accidents and some near misses are included. The NBAA Management Guide (section 2.4) recommends advanced flight crew training above and beyond the regulatory requirements of the FAA as a best practice. That recommendation specifically cites CFIT training. This training module would satisfy that NBAA training recommendation.
