With the United States temporarily pausing liquid natural gas exports, the nation is missing out on the opportunity to continue to provide needed energy resources to our allies abroad and bolster the economy. Heightened concerns around the emissions impact of liquid natural gas are driving this decision, but instead of shying away from leading in the export of this essential resource, the U.S. could be leading the pack while doing so responsibly and sustainably. New technologies like Upwing's subsurface compression system are able to produce more natural gas while reducing emissions per million standard cubic feet produced by 95%. Veritas Version 2 Protocols are now live! Over the last few months since version 1 was released in February 2023, the Veritas team, along with support from all our partners, has been working hard to test the protocols, gather feedback, and update and refine them to make them easier and faster to implement which will enable companies to achieve their methane reduction goals. Today we released the version 2 protocols and I am proud to be a part of this team and am looking forward to seeing the impact that the implementation of these protocols creates in the upcoming months. Download the open-source protocols at: https://veritas.gti.energy/ #methaneemissions #methanemeasurement #VeritasProtocols #energyindustry
Today, we are excited to unveil Version 2 of GTI Energy’s Veritas Methane Emissions Measurement and Verification Protocols. With feedback from rigorous testing by industry stakeholders, the Veritas Version 2 Protocols provide a more streamlined, refined, and standardized approach to measuring and verifying, and thereby reducing, methane emissions across the natural gas value chain. The updated protocols were designed to allow for faster and more accurate data collection, enabling stakeholders to demonstrate immediate, transparent, and verifiable action for achieving ambitious methane reduction goals. White smoke ! The European Council and European Parliament have reached a provisional political agreement on changes to the Gas Directive and Gas Regulation, establishing common EU rules on how methane and hydrogen markets should be organised. During the legislative process, we have been active, together with colleagues from across our offices, in advising a range of clients on the potential options for reform and their potential impacts. Click here for an overview of key features: and references to four studies, on which Frontier either led or played a major role for the Commission. https://okt.to/0CFTeP #EU #EnergyRegulation #hydrogen

Unlocking Evidence-Based Insights: Prioritizing Human Health and Building IEQ/IAQ Wellness
3moPoor IEQ attacks citizens: Beware Spending Time in Commercial & Residential Units Without Proper Monitoring for Ventilation, Purification, and Filtration: The Only Way to Avoid Rising Energy and Health Triggers and Symptoms is to Embrace Evidence-Based Scientific Data! (See Attached Top 2. Points) Effects of Insulation Breakdown in the Ceiling: 1 Increased Energy Costs: ◦ Heat Loss/Gain: Damaged or deteriorated insulation allows heat to escape in winter and enter in summer, forcing the HVAC system to work harder to maintain the desired temperature. 2. Health Problems: ◦ Moisture and Mold: Insulation breakdown can allow moisture to seep into the ceiling, promoting mold growth. Mold spores can aggravate asthma and allergy symptoms. ◦ Poor Air Quality: Gaps in insulation can lead to the infiltration of outdoor pollutants, dust, and allergens, worsening respiratory conditions. Signs of Insulation Breakdown: • Uneven Temperatures: Noticeable temperature differences between rooms. • High Energy Bills: Unexpected increases in heating and cooling costs. • Visible Damage: Sagging, wet, or moldy insulation material. • Drafts: Feeling drafts or cold spots. #Essmartinloworganfunctionresearch #Airqualitymatters #Healthfirst #IEQ
