Dear LinkedIN Community, I'm thrilled to share a unique experience with you all. Last year, I had the honor of participating in the TAP (Talent Accelerator Program), a fantastic platform for nurturing leadership, innovation and collaboration. Fast forward to this year, I returned as a Hackathon coach, and the experience was nothing short of remarkable. The shift from participant to coach was a journey filled with unique insights into leadership and the critical importance of Hackathons in fostering innovation. This year Hackathon theme was "Safer. Greener. More Inclusive". It's been inspiring to witness the incredible ideas that emerged during the Hackathon, underscoring the transformative power of collaboration and innovation. It's a testament to the notion that when you bring together a group of highly motivated and passionate individuals, they have the potential to create wonders. I'm continually amazed by the innovative solutions that surface when driven minds converge. Congratulations to Team 6 (Shore Thing) on winning the Most Innovative Idea award. We announce the launch of the Innovation and Talent with Purpose in Business 2023 Report! Our participation in this report, driven by U4IMPACT and the Fundación Princesa de Girona in collaboration with Madblue Summit, has provided us with valuable insights on business innovation and the essential role of purpose, highlighting the future leadership of young people. Behind the report, a total of 135 companies have participated, and we found key data, such as that 90% recognize purpose as a key driver of innovation, and 67% ensure that an innovative corporate culture is essential for innovation. 12 days ago I left Siegburg after a fantastic Siegwerk Global Leadership Forum. It was the the first time since 2019 that we were able to meet in person. What is left 12 days after? New and deepened personal connections, insights into aspects of our business, new ideas and inspiration. But most of all: an immense gratitude for how far we have come in 4 years on our sustainability and circular economy transformation journey. 4 years ago - while still being at Systemiq Ltd. - the project team presented the first bits and pieces of the circular economy strategy at the last global leadership meeting. Still conceptional and often foreign. 4 unusual years later CE does not need a separate slot anymore: It is embedded in our core business strategy, we have proven that we can innovate from within. We have expanded from CE to a holistic sustainability transformation - to include carbon reduction, human rights in the supply chain, diversity/equity/inclusion. We are not done yet, but we have come a long way. And it felt good taking a little time acknowledging this, refueling - before competing the climb. EMPOWERMENT This afternoon, during our quaterly staff meeting,we had a section on innovation 💡. NAMFISA staff were asked to give ideas in how we could better the organization currently or in future. Sometimes we have ideas 💡 we shy away of giving it due to thinking it's not brilliant or good enough. Sometimes creativity lies within you and fear and excuses stop you from unleashing them. I broke that fear and gave it a go. Look at where it landed me! Being awarded as one (1) of the four (4) innovator winners for the quarter.
