The Ennis 2040 TY Project for 2024 was a great success and congratulations to all the students involved! Ennis 2040’s Education Programme aims to give future generations a voice in the strategic planning of their town and to foster invaluable transferrable skills! We were able to cross curricular with other subjects which helped us grow the whole initiative and fantastic in terms of urban planning and spatial strategies and looking at different policies at government level and even at council level. Um, so huge opening for the girls to Start learning about how the town operates and, and getting to these different delegates from the NS ministerial district and how that helps towards the whole overall plan for Ennis town and how they can be part of that. So a huge opportunity for them to get their voices heard and put put some action into place for that. It's their future. I think a great sense of their leadership, you know, the kind of skills they developed in doing the project and culminating in today and next weekend is all those kind of leadership skills will stay with them. You know, the kind of skills they developed over the course of the project, kind of transferable skills. You know, the research they did as the different kind of aspects they took, the kind of surveys and then of course, finally the impact on the whole. So not just on the GY group, but it has an impact on all of us and particularly on the adults. I think listening to the future of our town and of our country, indeed, it was really, really very. I felt a great sense of pride listening to the Mama say yeah.

#Sports To foster a sporting culture and holistic development, I suggest introducing at least one Olympic sport as a compulsory subject in all schools starting from class 1st, with daily physical education.

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education IGCSE run by Cambridge International Examinations is a comprehensive syllabus that measures students holistically. Here is a video we did for external moderation of students who chose to do IGCSE Physical Education PE as one of their external sports. This specific video was focusing on Golf. The student got 48/50 but I should have given him full marks for the subject as he was extremely skilled in Golf having played the sport for a number of years. #IGCSEPE #IGCSEPhysicalEducation. https://lnkd.in/gD3X-dU6
