1𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 ✅ One month ago, when I joined inDrive as the Head Of Global Learning, a couple of questions loomed large in my mind: "What is the company culture like?”, “Is it for me?” In my opinion, a company culture holds critical importance when stepping into a new role; it can truly make or break the experience. While glimpses of the culture surface during the recruitment process — through personal research and interactions with recruiters and the hiring team — it's never the complete picture. Typically, within just a few days (or at most, a week), one can gauge whether there's a good cultural fit. First impressions are not that deceiving after all. So, of course, on my first day at work, I was undeniably excited yet slightly apprehensive. Would the company culture align with my expectations? And it didn’t disappoint at all; on the contrary, it exceeded expectations to a certain extent. Not only have I received a warm welcome from my manager, and my immediate (Global Learning) and extended (People & Culture) teams, but I also sensed a pervasive emphasis on people-centric values and a growth mindset throughout all levels of the organization starting at the very top from the most senior leaders to people on the ground. Divyang Pradhan our COO is sharing his journey at INTECH I joined this organization because I felt a deep connection with the Founder Promoter's vision and values. The journey began with my enrollment, and I soon found myself becoming an integral part of the core team. Over the years, I've taken on various roles, from Smart Guru Sales to VP Operations, gaining valuable experience and contributing to different departments. One of the most memorable and challenging opportunities was working with the Smart Guru Team. From Concept Sales to Training, Network Expansion, and Content Development, every aspect was a unique and creative challenge. I underwent training in Smart ROMS Concept Selling, serving multiple verticals to ensure the organization's growth. A pivotal moment in my career was the chance to be part of the Zodiac QA/Support Team for two years. This involved working from Hong Kong to enhance my skills, co authoring the Policy Manual, and rolling out policies at INTECH. The experience broadened my horizons and allowed me to contribute significantly to the organization. As a Core Team member, I faced a challenging situation involving feedback about not being welcoming at the start of meetings. To address this, I practiced being more present and engaging, seeking input from colleagues and incorporating their feedback. This continuous transformation, though confronting, was crucial for personal and team growth. What I appreciate most about the collaboration within the core team is the emphasis on being a team. We operate on the principle that alignment matters more than what we are aligning to. This unity and shared commitment create a strong foundation for our collective success. A moment that stands out in terms of values and impact was during my role as Engagement Manager with one of our clients. Our team's declaration and road map plan in 2018 bore fruit by December 2021, and we acknowledged this success with the client. This experience taught me the importance of declaring a bigger future, taking consistent actions, tracking outcomes, and acknowledging breakthroughs and breakdowns. In terms of learning and growth, the key lessons revolve around integrity, commitment to something bigger than oneself, and the significance of genuine relationships. Practicing integrity has elevated my career, committing to larger goals has contributed to INTECH's growth, and maintaining relationships without hidden agendas has allowed me to connect with Team INTECH with renewed enthusiasm. It's February already... As is customary, Happy new month everyone. I started this year on such a high note and little did I envision that I will find myself stuck in my head creating posts and deleting because I felt I wasn't there yet. Today I joined the Product Chat meeting by Fumnanya (Nanya) Okeleke-Kooper 's and Divine Egbuna with conversations which spanned across product management, mentorship and other aspects which affects this career path in tech. One of such conversations was on maintaining a work-life balance; having good work ethic, being enthusiastic yet enforcing boundaries and how paramount it is to prioritise time and plan ahead so you are not swamped by the responsibilities that come with being an adult and chasing a career. Divine Egbuna made a closing statement and he said "people think that they will be able to share their experience when they get there and the irony is that they never get there". The goal is to share your story and understand that your experience as a Product Manager is tailored fit for someone else. Four months ago, I joined the WERQ LABS as a Business Development Associate, full of excitement and curiosity about what lay ahead. The first few weeks were all about getting familiar with the company culture, understanding the processes, and getting to know the team. This experience has been full of learning, growth, and challenges that have pushed me to develop new skills every day. Highlights from My Experience So Far: Over these four months, I’ve undergone a significant learning curve. From understanding my role to adapting to the professional environment, each day brought new challenges and learning opportunities. With the help of training sessions and guidance from my mentors, it helped me to quickly pick up the required skills for my tasks - From mastering the art of cold calling to understanding the nuances of #customerrelationshipmanagement.  I had the opportunity to contribute to several Meetings, working closely with my colleagues. Collaborating with experienced team members has not only enhanced my knowledge but also helped me develop a sense of responsibility towards my work. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed, especially when dealing with new and complex tasks. However, with support from my team and perseverance, I was able to overcome these hurdles.
