Much more interesting than the phrase “virtual nutrition solution”, first, because I thought it was an app and it’s not, they’re scaling insurance-supported dietician consulting, where dietician is not a technical but a person-first interaction; but second, because their story of growth reminds us of the many paths to scaling. Here’s to symbolic new beginnings on September 1st. Five years ago, alongside Marius Declerck, Michael Verschueren, and Gio Canini, we stood at the drawing board of an idea we all believed had the power to transform healthcare. The concept of E-Health Venture was born from our deep-rooted experience in the healthcare sector while working at VML HEALTH, where we witnessed firsthand the urgent need for change and innovation. We knew that the future of healthcare required not just technological advancements but a systemic approach—one that could bring together all key players under one umbrella and bridge historical gaps (and differences) within the healthcare system. However, back then, the timing wasn’t quite right to join E-Health Venture. Today, that initial vision is more relevant than ever. The healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving, yet in some ways, it remains unchanged. The need for a player who can bridge the gaps between key stakeholders and drive systemic innovation has never been more critical. So here’s to symbolic new beginnings—I’m excited to be leading E-Health Venture into this new chapter alongside Ann Broché and the rest of the team!
