Must be #TransmissionTuesday. We started the day with news of FERC's acceptance of rules that ISO New England Inc. filed to enable the states to move forward together on key transmission investments needed for the future power grid. Later this morning, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs joined fellow New England states, NY, and Mid-Atlantic states in announcing an MOU for the historic ten-state Northeast States Collaborative on Interregional Transmission. The MOU charts a path forward for the multi-state initiative, with support from the US DOE, to build a more reliable electric grid and drive down consumer costs by expanding access across markets. Been a good day for transmission policy and the clean energy transition! https://lnkd.in/ec-jnxvP

#TransmissionTuesday has a nice ring to it Jason. Congrats to you and your colleagues in New England and in the Collaborative. The Collaborative MOU and ISO-NE tariff reforms are important steps toward building the transmission the region(s) will need to achieve the clean energy transition.
