In the wake of the Kelly Moore shutdown, I’ve seen posts discussing color matching of Kelly Moore colors. Obviously this is necessary for touch-ups and partial repaint projects, but what about new or full repaints? This is the perfect time to establish your brand with stranded customers and contractors.
On a regular basis we are asked to convert colors from one color system to another. This is different than performing a color match; it’s to select colors from a different manufacturer which most closely match the target colors.

For anyone using Kelly Moore colors with the opportunity to move over to your brand, you can enter the Kelly Moore color number or name, and then select your color collection, and easyrgb returns an array of the colors which most closely match the target color.
In the example below, KM 36 Navajo White returned ten potential options from Behr’s various color collections. This can facilitate establishing brand loyalty with prior Kelly Moore customers and contractors.

We are excited to see Pennsylvania roll out new mail ballot materials for the 2024 primary! The updates aim to reduce the number of ballots that are rejected because of mistakes. We look forward to seeing them in all 67 counties across the state.
The design updates address the most common reasons mail-in ballots have been rejected since 2020 in PA, when no-excuse mail-in ballots were first implemented: Lack of signature, missing date, receiving them late, and lack of secrecy envelope.
We were excited to work with PA on this redesign and on testing mail ballot materials in Spanish and Chinese.
Here are just a few of the updates to the mail ballot materials:
- Color that makes it easier to distinguish between the inner and outer envelopes
- A prefilled “20” in the date section so that voters know to list the current date rather than their date of birth
- Putting color and an icon where voters have to sign and date the envelope
- Updated instructions to help voters pack up their ballot to return
- Using a watermark on the ballot secrecy envelope so that it’s clear it should not be mailed without being put inside the return envelopes
- Reminders for the deadline to return the ballot
