How many emails do you receive each day? For me the number is somewhere between 100-150. A zero-inbox ambition is alluring, but not always possible without breaking up the day. For many, email has changed from an enabler of efficient communication to a source of daily hassle. Good email practice starts with each one of us starting to set an example. Before sending out your next email, take a step back to reflect: - Is email the right medium or is a phone call or a brief meeting better suited to resolve the matter? - Who actually needs to receive this information? - Does the subject line inform the recipient what this email is about and what is expected of them? - Is this the right time (esp. if you are considering to send emails outside business hours) or can I schedule the email for a more suitable timing? Good email practices can significantly reduce stress and overwhelm. And who needs more stress these days? :) #wellbeing #stressmanagement #emotionalintelligence #productivity #resilience #mindmatters #personalresilienceindicator

100 emails? Would break me! I have become very good at paring that down, it's a must.
