I believe that it is a marketing sin to under-utilize content, especially when it starts with such a rich source as a video podcast. This is a platform that's proving to be a game changer for enhancing business digital presence. My team and I have developed a unique approach to video podcasting. This approach allows us to transform a single episode into multiple pieces of engaging content that attract attention for months. Long beyond an episode release. This provides a significant competitive advantage that allows businesses to punch above their weight and marketing budget. Our strategy revolves around producing three key types of content from one video podcast episode: audio, website text, and video clips. In the article linked below, I'll share our strategy that paves the way for businesses to create a variety of content from a single source, ensuring they achieve maximum exposure and engagement. In addition to the blueprint in the article, you'll learn about: 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We convert one video podcast into several engaging pieces of content. Audio Utilization: We repurpose audio content from the podcast into RSS feeds and audiograms to extend our reach. 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We use each podcast episode to create a dedicated, content-rich webpage. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We break down video content into various formats, from complete episodes to social media clips and advertising segments. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀: This method enhances brand exposure, engagement, and visibility across the digital landscape. Let's talk if you'd like to create a full content production strategy for your brand.

I may have revealed my ENTIRE content strategy and philosophy in this podcast. For free. In October 2023, Neal Moore invited me as one of his guests for Moore's Lore Media | Content Strategy & Storytelling Solutions’ The Business of Storytelling podcast. In it, he asked a host of questions pertaining to content strategy, social media management, and how to effectively tell stories. Today, listening back to the podcast, I note a certain lilt to my voice — an excitement which even I can sense is palpable. It’s an important observation because a few days ago, I was told to tell a workshop participant what I do that makes me feel most alive. “I love telling people how I create stories and manage content.” This podcast is exemplary of that. If I were to review my performance in this episode, I dare say I was fluent, excited, vulnerable, and extremely lucid. One of my favourite quotes (of mine, lol) was “It’s a very old-fashioned way to think that all roads lead back to the website.” I say this in response to how publications should not be simply copy and pasting the same type of content across all the social media platforms they own and praying that one would stick. It’s lazy, it’s pointless, and it’s a huge waste of time. It’s even more ridiculous to think that your follower on IG would deign to visit your website just because you indicate to read more in the link in bio. It’s unnatural behaviour in the same way that you won’t do that either unless you’re really, really, moved to. And how many IG accounts you know can do that? So do have a listen (at speed 1.2x please) on your way to work this morning as I lay bare my complete philosophy of content and the magic that we so often miss because we’re constantly chasing for vanity metrics. #contentmarketing #contentstrategy #storytelling #TBOS
