People, who are always trying to take every opportunity from me, people who are making sure that my life is a tragedy whatever I do, people who are making me suffer like it’s a hell on earth, who are you? Why can’t you do the same for successful people like Lex. Lex, I am sorry, I like you very much. I don’t mean anything bad for you. I am just trying to show the people who only wants to make me suffer that there are successful and lucky people who could afford to take a little setback. I am sorry. But I am just trying my best to make them understand…. I am torn into pieces by these hungry people who want to hurt me again and again, to take from me. Why can’t they see other successful and happy people? Or are they out of reach to them? There are so many successful and happy people out there. They could actually afford to take a setback or two. And if you have taken the success or job from someone else, don’t hesitate to give your job to others. We need to build the processes to protect innocent people like me. When someone is fired for another’s selfish reasons, all morals break lose here. It discourages people to even try. And there would be absolutely nothing to take from. Lex, could please cover this in your next podcast about why people are not taking from you or other successful people? Please!! That would be a greatest question to ponder over.

Today, I'm taking a moment to reflect and celebrate a significant milestone in my life. Seventeen years ago, I made a life-altering decision to leave behind a very comfortable life in Spain and embark on a new journey in the United Kingdom. This wasn't just a geographical move; it was a leap into the unknown, a start from zero (again) in a place where I had to learn not just a language, but a whole new way of life. In these 17 years, the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. I arrived with the goal to learn English and build a professional career, but what I achieved along the way has been so much more. I managed to build a decent sales career, start my own company, start a family, buy a home, forge lasting relationships, and create a circle of friends that became my extended family. These milestones weren't just checkboxes in my life; they were stepping stones that helped me build an identity in a new world. Leaving Venezuela, my home country, and starting from scratch in Spain was a challenge, but doing it all over again in the UK was a testament to my resilience and adaptability. Each step of the way, from the struggles of the early days to the triumphs that followed, shaped the person I am today. The experience taught me the power of perseverance, the importance of embracing change, and the beauty of building a life in a new place. As I celebrate this anniversary, I am reminded of the courage it took to take that first step and the countless lessons learned along the way. This journey has been about much more than professional growth; it's been a transformational personal journey. To those who find themselves at the start of a similar path, know that the challenges are many, but the rewards are even greater. I celebrated my 25th birthday yesterday and if there’s one lesson that stands out in all these years, it’s this: we are all on our own unique journey, and there's no need to compare ourselves to anyone else. Two and a half years ago, I took my very first flight—both domestic and international—when I moved to Japan. Coming from a middle-class family, flying was a huge milestone for me. I used to count every single flight afterwards and even used to collect boarding passes for sometime, because it was such a rare experience. Fast forward to now, and in the last one and a half years, I've traveled to 10 countries, sometimes even taking weekend trips abroad. There was a month this year when I took seven flights in just ten days. What once felt monumental has now become routine. Similarly, just few months ago, I visited a zoo for the very first time in my life. Yea unfortunately had never seen a zoo before and as destiny had it surprisingly a month after that visit, I was already on an African safari, watching wild animals up close in their natural habitat. These experiences, though vastly different, are all part of my personal journey. Progress isn’t measured by how fast we move or how we compare to others. It’s about embracing each step of our unique journey. Celebrate your milestones, no matter how big or small! Its your own journey and there is no competition. I'd love to hear about your journeys.
