Gratitude Practice Day 4 Welcome back. How is your practice going? What are you noticing about the things you're grateful for? Is it the people around you, the good events or unexpected moments that have surprised you or bought you joy? Let's continue together^: * let's take a moment to anchor ourselves by observing our breath - feeling your body breathing. You might feel your belly rise and fall, your breath at the tip of your nostrils or perhaps the rise and fall of your chest....... * take a moment to savour your breath....... * lets take a moment to reflect back on the last few days, allowing the people, good events, good experiences to flow back into your mind....... * when you're ready, write down 3 things you're grateful for * be as specific as possible, E.g. Gathering with family to share a meal, stories and laughter together * savour each reflection, seeing these as 'gifts', feeling the emotions and gratitude arising Is there someone who did something for you that you are deeply thankful for and would like to express your gratitude to? Could you reach out to that person today or this week? The next gratitude practice will be on 5/12/2024. ^Instructions adapted from Greater Good Science Center https://lnkd.in/g7ZCn84r #Gratitude #Wellbeing #LeaderWellbeing #Mindful

Gratitude can transform your life. Here’s how I practice it 👇🏼 🙏🏼 My Gratitude Journal: I dedicate a few minutes each day to write down things I am grateful for. This helps me focus on the positives in my life. 🙏🏼 I Express My Appreciation: I take time to verbally express gratefulness to others. Whether it's through a thank-you note, a phone call, or coffee in person, appreciating others cultivates positivity in relationships. 🙏🏼 I Practise Mindful Appreciation: Throughout my day, I consciously notice and appreciate the small positive moments. Mindfulness helps me stay present and grounded. 🙏🏼 I Shift My Perspective: When I face challenges or setbacks, I actively look for silver linings or lessons learned. Practising gratitude in difficult situations helps me maintain optimism. 🙏🏼 My Senses Awaken: I enjoy going for a walk and admire the beauty around me. From the vibrant colours of blooming flowers to the melodic chirping of birds, the hustle and bustle of the city, the serenity of deserted streets, the delicious aromas from nearby kitchens to the sound of people chatting—I appreciate everything about it. 🦋 How do you practice gratitude? #Gratitude #life #mindset #positivethoughts #mindfulliving #selfcompassion #lifecoach #healthyliving #goals #inspiration #confidence #success #thankyou #selflove

Gratitude is a powerful tool for cultivating joy and enhancing overall well-being. By intentionally focusing on the positive aspects of life, we can shift our mindset from lack to abundance, leading to a more fulfilling existence. One effective way to do this is by keeping a gratitude journal, where you write down three things you’re thankful for each day. This simple habit trains your brain to notice the good, even on tough days, and sets a positive tone for your life. Incorporating gratitude into your daily routine goes beyond journaling. Expressing appreciation to others—whether through a heartfelt conversation, a quick message, or a kind gesture—strengthens relationships and spreads positivity. Another impactful approach is practicing mindful gratitude, where you pause to appreciate small, everyday moments, like a peaceful walk or a warm cup of tea. These moments of mindfulness anchor you in the present and amplify your sense of joy. Gratitude can even transform how we view challenges. By focusing on the lessons learned from difficult situations, we can foster resilience and growth. Ending your day by reflecting on something positive or visualizing future gratitude can also help maintain a hopeful and joyful outlook on life. ✨ Ready to embrace gratitude for a more joyful life? One thing that happy people do is practice gratitude regularly, which leads them to appreciate the positive aspects of their lives. Gratitude shifts focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant, helping you feel a sense of contentment and joy. If you're unsure as to how to integrate gratitude into your every day life, try starting with a journal. Each day, write down three things you’re thankful for, whether big or small. You can also express gratitude directly to the people in your life by writing/texting thank-you notes or simply telling someone you appreciate them. This habit not only boosts your mood but also strengthens relationships. Practicing gratitude allows you to actively think about the good things that are happening to you, this is especially helpful when navigating difficult emotions and situations. Over time, you'll start noticing more positives in your daily life, leading to increased happiness and resilience. #mindfulnesswithsasha #mindfulinsights #gratitude #mentalhealth #selfcare #positivity #wellness #mindfulness https://wix.to/y05yd1P
