"The single biggest misconception about postpartum care: thinking breastfeeding would be easier (48%). 84% of moms experienced at least mild breastfeeding complications" Breastfeeding is 'natural' and has worked as long as humans have walked the earth so of course there's an assumption that it will come easily and mom can trust her instincts to know what her baby needs. Then that same mom goes into a standard hospital and has her baby's face forced into her breast to check the box that baby has nursed successfully. If she's lucky she'll get to see her baby crawl to the breast and self-attach (yes that's a thing!). Babies that self attach are more likely to nurse without damaging the nipple. The evidence for laid-back breastfeeding and biological nurturing is robust - so why are women still being taught outdated, complicated '20 steps to latch' instead of a physiologic approach? Reduce overwhelm and pain with a new approach to breastfeeding and postpartum mental health - the Mindful Breastfeeding Program. Hi Elvie Im currently facing a embarssing situation, after a replacement of a broken pump breast, the product is not working, does not turns on. I requested a full new set or a refund. Support said it´s not possible. I´ve already wrote to Tania (CEO). LVO-65D612FC1B034 / LVO-6622CE4D3A18D. My soon is CMPA, which turns the case criticall, Im a gastropediatrician and has trusted at Elvie. Very frustrating the support, as well as the product quality. Hope, we can end up with a complete difference approch as per Elvie.
