Ellis Park Racing & Gaming’s Post

Our team participated in a community service event yesterday at Wesselman Woods in Evansville, IN. The center boasts the largest tract of virgin, old-growth forest within any city limits in the United States. We spent the day removing invasive species from the forest floor with the guidance of Derek Walsh, Director of Natural Resources and Research. Derek taught us about the native vegetation in our area and the invasive species that could harm the forest if not removed. It was a beautiful day and a great opportunity for team-building and community service. 🌳 🌿 🍃 #CommunityService #TeamEllis #WesselmanWoods
