Internship is a great opportunity to both learn new skills and can get you one step closer to that job. Story has it that when Warren Baffett graduated from Columbia, he applied and offered to internship with Benjamin Graham for free. Ben made his customary calculation of value to price and said no to the “offer” citing Warren was over priced. He in a nutshell wanted Warren to know and understand the value of his internship with him. Well, Warren eventually got the internship and the opportunity to work with Ben, the rest as they say is history. All this to say, internship done right can be the gateway to greater things to come. If you are lucky enough to intern somewhere. Pursue the opportunity with all you have and don’t take it lightly. That been said, here are a couple things I would do if I was just starting out and got an internship. #careertips #internship #techcareer
