Is there something you want to know about working with First Nations people, but you've never known who or how to ask? The First Nations Circus and Physical Theatre Circle is gathering on Wurundjeri Country this weekend and we want to hear your burning questions about collaborating with First Peoples in Circus and Physical Theatre spaces. This survey will take about 15 minutes. This survey has been designed for non-First Nations people engaged in the CaPT sector who are seeking to be better allies and/or feel more empowered in making culturally safe spaces for mob, now and into the future. The results will be used to highlight gaps in knowledge/points of pressure in the sector and drive conversation with our First Nations Circle on how we might help to fill those gaps. Possible futures

On March 10th, 1989 Dryden, Ontario saw a plane crash that would change aviation safety nationally, Air Ontario Flight 1363. This incident resulted in twenty-four fatalities including twenty-one passengers and three of the flight crew. The lives of the surviving passengers and crew member were impacted for life. Responders and support in the aftermath included a range of formal institutions, local businesses, and general citizens. The Commission of Inquiry into this incident by The Honourable V. P. Moshansky was published three years later and presented 191 recommendations (inclusive of those set out in the Interim Report) covering topics from hot refueling and ground de-icing to legislative changes. Today, the Dryden and District Museum is trying to capture personal accounts of this incident to aid future generations in understanding the implications and deep impact. Anyone with their own account who would like to share is encouraged to reach out. This is a portion of a larger project to create a memorial that will complement the monument at the original crash site while providing a space for reflection. Another portion of this project is to educate, beginning with a local exhibit at the Dryden & District Museum in March of 2024. It does not include land that is predominantly under agricultural or urban use."[5] Using this definition, Global Forest Resources Assessment 2020 (FRA 2020) found that forests covered 4.06 billion hectares (10.0 billion acres; 40.6 million square kilometres; 15.7 million square miles), or approximately 31 percent of the world's land area in 2020…..💥💚
