#AHECollection: Ferrari 330 GTS Ferrari introduced their 330 GTC in 1966. The two-seat coupe was an elegant Pininfarina-designed coupe, followed later that same year by the 330 GTS Spyder, providing both closed and open options. The car’s independent rear suspension, light steering, and 300 hp made it an exceedingly refined and capable car on the road. In fact, it has been described as one of the greatest GT cars ever produced by many an automotive luminary. The 330 GTS was more sporting than the 2+2, making it one of the most streetable and liveable Ferraris of the era. One of the only 99 units produced, this car was ordered in a unique colour combination, representing the only one produced with this specification. WATCH: Fleet Of Ferrari FXX-K V12 Hypercars Terrorizes Mugello https://lnkd.in/ejTyF9Bx The Ferrari XX program isn't for mere mortals like us, but thankfully, some people have access to the ultra-exclusive track days and share their experiences online. One of those people is the man behind the YouTube channel Varryx, who is bringing us a 16-minute shakedown video of a bunch of Ferrari FXX-Ks in action. The track runs were captured at the Mugello Circuit during the 2023 Ferrari Finali Mondiali. Ferrari only produced 42 FXX-K examples based on the road-going LaFerrari, which, by the way, could finally be in line for a replacement next year. The K in the moniker refers to the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), an onboard technology that recovers kinetic energy under braking to later deploy for increased acceleration. Powering the high-performance, limited-production track cars is a 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 that falls under the F140 family. This engine series also powers the likes of the Daytona SP3 and 812 Competizione. In the FXX-K, though, the power unit delivers a combined output of 1,036 horsepower and over 633 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine makes 860 hp, while the electric motor adds 187 horses. The FXX-K is exceptionally loud since it does not need to conform to road laws, and since the presenter had cameras from the pitstop and the grandstand, we get to experience all sorts of shrieks and screams from differing distances.

The FXX K itself carries a NA 6.3L V12 and E-Motor making a total output of 1050hp and 664lb-ft of torque, with the 860hp engine and additional 187hp electric motor. It uses a KERS system for energy recovery, hence the "K" in the name. This particular example is finished in Bianco Italia with Nero Alcantara interior. It is numbered 99. A fine example. Testing in '96 proved that the car was ready to be competitive against the terrain at the time. However, with the FIA homologation rules changing and the likes of Porsche & Mercedes using a loophole in the rules for their new cars this season, Ferrari chose to cancel the F50GT project. I'm focusing more on Formula 1. Ferrari planned to build 6 chassis, but only 3 were completed - 001, 002 and 003. Making it one of the rarest stallions to come out of their stable. The F50 sports a 4.7L V12 that screams at 11,000 revs and produces 739hp and 390lbs of torque. This power leads to the wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox. He weighed in at 2005 lbs (909kg).
