You have to mitigate your team's mob mentality. It's easy for a negative mentality to creep into groupthink. Repetitive losses could result in low morale, or repeat wins could produce complacency. But by detaching from their coworkers' negative attitudes and tendencies, leaders can inspire and guide them toward success. For more intimate leadership conversations like these, join Jocko Willink and the Echelon Front team at the Council, a leadership retreat this June: https://lnkd.in/grWPXb4J

This is true for the team members as well. Learn to detach from your teammates negativity and poor attitude. Letting yourself get dragged down into their way of thinking only hurts you. If your manager chooses to do nothing and only contributes to perpetuating negativity, time to move on.

Negative groupthink can easily take root, with repetitive losses leading to low morale and repeat wins causing complacency. By helping team members detach from negative attitudes and fostering a positive mindset, leaders can inspire and guide their teams toward sustained success. #Leadership #TeamDynamics #PositiveMindset

Negativity breeds more negativity, every time. As a leader, you have to learn how to deal with this and get ahead of it before it spreads.
