In Italy, he gained a decade of experience in project management, sales, and marketing within the private sector. Prior to this appointment, he served as a communication and partnership specialist in Thailand for the United Nations Development Programme in Asia Pacific, where he implemented development projects and facilitated stakeholder relationships. The event, the second in a series of four, aimed to raise awareness and enhance understanding of the EUDR among key stakeholders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and provincial authorities in Northern Laos. The initiative aligns with the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Laos strategy to support companies’ awareness and understanding of EU regulations promoting sustainability and fostering partnerships that contribute to a more sustainable future for both Laos and the EU. The High-level workshop provided a valuable platform for dialogue, presentations, and discussions on the challenges and opportunities related to the EUDR. These efforts play a crucial role in supporting Laos as it transitions to deforestation-free supply chains.
